This affordable housing community will exemplify South City’s vision for housing in its new downtown core plan. 36 affordable housing dwelling units are organized on a 14,000 sf lot conveniently located adjacent to Grand Avenue, the main downtown spine. Baden Station’s residents can not only easily access cafes, services and workplaces, but also is within 1/2 mile of the city’s new Caltrain Station.

Baden Station includes studio, 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom apartments, with a community room, laundry room, social services and management offices, upper level terraces, and a landscaped courtyard.

Supportive services for the units for people with disabilities will be provided via nonprofit organization Housing Choices Coalition. Baden Station would be the first of its kind to house individuals with developmental disabilities within 50% of its units.
